As an alternative we have a reserved a contingency at the Best Western Plus Steglitz International. From this hotel you may reach the venue easily via bus in about 15 min. The hotel is located next to the S-Bahn line S1, which brings you directly to the city center of Berlin. However, you may consider to stay at any other area of Berlin and commute to the conference venue via S- or U-Bahn (this is what most students do). If you go for this option you may in particular look for hotels near the U-Bahn line U3 or S-bahn line S1.
Low Budget and Student Accomodation
Aparthotel Residenz 2000 also offers hostel rooms (shared rooms). Prices start from 15 Euro (shared room).
Berlin has numerous hostels and low budget accommodations. Many of those are easy to reach from the CADE venue via U-Bahn or S-Bahn, see also below. An overview on more than 40 hostels in Berlin are, for example, provided here and here.
Students on a very low budget that want to actively participate at CADE-25 conference may also directly contact Christoph Benzmüller, since for a limited number of such students we may be able to provide free accommodation.
